General Talk / Re: Radios ? Who carriers them vhf or more

I got a few baofeng radios for ham that does UHF and vhf, you just godda program the marine channels, these cheap lil guys are great at 27 bucks each on amazon they have sum water resistance cases. Just get yer ham license if yah wanna use the other frequency's. They make great gifts at that price. They claim to have a water proof one at 60 bucks. It's a great idea to have some way of communication. Its hard to see my smoke signals out there. Not being rude, but I checked regulations. You should check them also.

Baddass setup. I am to from Corpus and have been in North California for a year. Hit me up when y'all come up north. We got a Texan hobie fishing crew here.

Gars are good eating, but yah have to use a dremel or saw to fillet em.

I just got mine in mail yesterday, and am installing right now. Let's troubleshoot this lil monster. Are you holding down power button longer than 3 secs? I did have to really push that sucker in tight and it only goes in one way. Could try a lower voltage going in,  don't think would matter thou. Check for any kinks in the wire, take air compressor and really clean those connectors. Hope yah get working.
