I've heard that Tomales Bay has been a bit slow on the crabbing, but I'm going to give it a try. I'm taking a newbie crabbing with me. Hopefully we get enough for some Christmas Eve appetizers. On the water around 7 am.

I'll be in the Fort Bragg area on Thursday and Friday, and was thinking about launching from Russian Gulch on Friday Morning at day break. Anyone interested in joining me?

Also, I've never launched from Russian Gulch before. Anyone have any comments or tips?

New to Kayak fishing, been to Trinidad once (with LoletaEric), and a couple of times since to Fort Bragg. Looking forward to a lot more time on the water!
