Well conditions was at its best for the bean, too bad the fishing was so slow. My score for the day was a gopher, one greenling, a 17 inch cabby, and PATRICK THE STAR FISH. It was a pleasure fishing with you Adam. Hopefully the fishing will pick up soon before my post-surgery recovery period end and I have to go back to work.

Got there late this morning. Had to wait until the wife goes to work. Don't want her getting upset seeing me go have fun while she have to work. Bought fifteen dollars of anchovies and headed over to the Cal sailing club. Launch at 8:30 in windless flat condition. Baited up and Paddle toward the end of the pier. There were a few pb working the end of the pier. When i arrive at the end of the pier, all of the sudden the wind pick up. Decided to let the wind blow me back to where i come from. I had one hit on the way backthat result in a 23 in halibut on the game clip. Anyhow here are the pixs.

Well I suppose to fish the Bean but opt out due to poor condition. I got a free pass to fish and I'm not going to waste it. Arrive at

the live bait dock at 7am. As I was scooping water for bait bucket my car key  slip out of my other hand and hit the water and

vanish. :smt013  :smt010 . I didn't have a spare key on me. My only option now is to call my wife and have her bring me a spare

key. The bait guy saw the whole thing and suggest that I go the Harbor master and borrow a magnet and try to fish it up. went up

and borrow a magnet the size of a brick with a long rope attach to it. lower it down and tap the bottom lightly around the area

where it sank. On the first pull up my key is found attach to the magnet. Apparently incident like mine occur a lot according to the

Harbor master. Bought bait  and launch from the UC sail dock across the bait shop at 8am. Light wind and choppy condition at

launch off. Fish the northern side of the Pier until 1 pm. Had one take down and two scratched bait. Caught a 31 incher on the take

down. Stop at 7eleven on the way home and bought a lottery ticket. Sorry no on the water pix. I lost or misplace my camera. here

Well I decided last minute to skip the Bean due to poor condition. Switch to plan B and fish the Berkeley Flat instead. Glad to see everybody is safe.
