It was great to fish with you again Sledge. it had been too long. I can confidently confirm that the gopher population at ft ross is thriving. I did also catch a chunky cab and a 24inch ling. Weather was sweet, excellent day.

Right-on Sledge.  9 years sober is awesome and impressive. Lets get out and slay some lings.

Good luck bro. I wish I had some useful insight to share but I don't have any experience in that area. My only advice is to stay hydrated and focused. Also remember that Mother Nature is in charge so be prepared to pivot and modify you plan on the fly.

What an amazing weekend. Big thanks to Mother Nature for the weather and thank you Eric for bringing the brotherhood back together again. I fished for a few hours both friday and Saturday. I caught a ling,a few verms, and assorted blacks etc. Huge thanks to Chadrock,02B,Joneszy,Butete and his wife Jingle for helping me make the tacoshack happen. also thanks to Fisheducator and others for making the bad-ass crema. Most of all, thanks to all the people who were so generous with the fillet donations. I have long felt it important to me for us to come together and enjoy our bounty of the sea together while it is fresh. It feels right and tastes good. Cant wait for the next one.

cool, friendly and informative video. I like the drone shots.

My paperwork is coming. We are having printer issues.

thank you Paul

I see tacos in your future...   :smt004

Looks like I better whip up a fresh batch of Fisheducator's crema sauce... just sayin'

The crema of all cremas. Hell yeah.

I am so fucking excited about the possibility that this could actually happen. The chance to reconnect the brotherhood. The brotherhood that has meant so much to me for so long. A brotherhood forged by the sea and our mutual need to survive and thrive in the sea. Interacting with Mother Nature on such a simple yet gritty and honest level with people I truly care about. That is what makes me happy. The lost coast is so special. I will make a million fish tacos and take out the trash too. Anything for my brothers.

HELL YEAH!!!   best news I've heard all year.

it was about 7 years ago that Danglin left and Racinrob took over. He ran it for year or 2 then turned over the reigns to ArchiMarx(Adam). as far as I know, they never held another event. I'm kinda curious what happened. We had a big ass trailer full of kayaks, fishing poles, paddles, life vests and cooking equipment. Where did it all go? Hopefully to another chapter.
