Jorgensen knows there are more sharks out there: On a June 7 helicopter ride, he counted 61.

I've kept them on their side and upside down for >12 years without issues.  it's when I left them right side up in the sun that my bottom warped  :smt013

I've been considering doing the same thing to the Tarpon 140 I just got. My concern is that raising the center of gravity will compromise the stability. Thought's?
It will make it tippy, which isn't a concern when you have outriggers.

Kayak Sailing / Re: How much water is too much inside Hobie AI ???

I had at least a couple gallons a couple weekends ago when I was having fun sailing in SC.  I have always run my FF wires under the hatch and I know it's not optimal.  But I will say that when I don't have the wires in, and I after I had just replaced my inner ring seal (that had come off on its own) with that split insulation for pipes that has a sticky edge.  At least the first few times I put the hatch back on you could actually feel it suction into place, like it forced air out as I put it on.  https://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=97967.msg1103714#msg1103714

Eventually it comes off, but man it stays around a good long time.  My problem is redwood seeds, that leave a pink stain on anything they are in contact with and water.  :smt013

awesome, I was just looking through my nets this morning and wondering if there is still anyone out there building A frames? there was a guy the sea buzzard but he was up there in age when I bought from him last. I am planning to make a few runs up to Westport this summer, if anyone has any info on what's been happening recently id appreciate it.
The man that made us all want to go in the surf and stick poles under rocks at low tide makes them  :smt003 https://www.seaforager.com/swag-shop/handmade-a-frame-dip-net

You aren't alone, we have all made these kinds of mistakes and learn to overcome them.  All part of the game.
