Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Late SWS report
« on: April 10, 2019, 04:17:12 PM »
Hey All,

This is a post from Still Water South opening day. I know way late.

There were a lot kayaks out that day, I kept hearing Salty Nutz on the radio. Weather was good but it started to blow around noon. Fishing was good, I might have been the only one that didn't get a ling, but got a Verm. and a several gophers.

A few of us helped a guy get back in his kayak after a seal tried stealing his ling, hung overboard on a stringer, and set him on a little trip. I had my first yard sale, not fun. Some really cool dude helped me recover and thanks to him I didn't loose anything. I have 2 reels that need a serious cleaning a 1 guide on a pole that needs repair.

All in all a decent trip.

Introductions / New Dummy Here

Hey All,

Great forum here, I really appreciate all of the knowledge everyone is willing to share.

I live in Santa Cruz and have been out half a dozen times with mixed success. My first outing I got stuck in the fog but was able to follow a fellow NCKAer in just as cleared up. I now have all of my safety gear.

Anyway, hope to see ya OTW.
