We stayed at the Hetch Hetchy group site that time. But its the most expensive now because it allows up to 150 people. The other group sites say 50 people max. Looking at the reservation site & sat images, these group sites look good too: Eagle View, Ardilla, and Wild Turkey.
Oh, things have changed I guess!  When I checked the site yesterday I thought it said to call about the group sites, and the Reserve America site was crashing when I tried to click on group sites.  I'd prefer it be a still boat in site, to be like the original FnC.   But this time i'm bringing my AI  :smt044

And I think its time to bring back the Barbie Fishing Tournament  :smt003

I'll give them a call and check availability and cost.  :smt006

I'm aiming for Feb 21-23 or March 13-15 for the O'neill Forebay FnC.

Just a heads up.  :smt006
Keep Forebay in Feb, and do Del Vall in March :)

Let your vote speak for you, A-Hull!

i might like to come out and fish... i can rent a kayak there..

I'm just getting back into fishing after a long hiatus... i went trout fishing at  del Valle a couple of times in a rental aluminum boat in the late 70s,  like when i was 8-12 yo.

but as a teen i did more bass fishing than trout..

In 100%!

What a fun time that was.
Funny looking at those old pics.  I didn’t even have a paddle top yet!

Your Forebaby discussion in the Lake Del Valle Reboot thread was confusing until I re-read all the posts.

HOLY %^$# 11 Years?  I remember that night!  Can't say I've ever been that exposed at a campsite like that nights storm that hit since.  Ben making a Frog horror  movie for Mooch? With dueling banjo's music (Not the jaws theme) ah good times.   Sadly I won't make this trip.
