I've done a lot of CL deals.  Cash only, in person, public place.  Ive had only one instance so far that the buyer tried to pass a fake $100.  Always carry a counterfeit detector pen.  May not be perfect, but it helps.

Actually a picture does help. Not for the hot factor, but it gives you an idea of what you are dealing with. A lot of factors come into play when renting out a room (bringing a stranger into your home). HEre in CA once someone is in a home it can be a difficult to get them out.

What drama is going to come with this person (Immediate need screams of drama)? What was the situation that caused this immediate need? Will a couch suffice until a room is found? How long does she anticipate that to be? Price range? How much stuff does she need to bring? pets? smokes? drugs?

All details that can be addressed one-on-one between her & the individual(s) who may have a room or in-law house for rent.  Immediate need does not screen drama in this case, I will vouch for that.  No Darius, this is not another wife situation

I'm glad potential homelessness is funny & "picture dependent"  but hey ... to each their own.  Just trying to help a friend/co-worker out.

In the meantime, she's trolling all other housing availability sources for an option.

CHEMO TUESDAY!  2 out of 6 treatments, a third way done.  Found out today that my labwork looks good...My iron is low and improving with the help of my iron supplements.  Otherwise I am doing well.  Hubby is here keeping me company.  Thank you all for the support you continue to give us.  This is a LONG road to recovery but I am hopeful that I can handle this chemo with the strength I did with the first one.  Love you all💜
