For Sale / Tarpon 140 for sale - SOLD
« on: October 15, 2018, 08:54:19 AM »
Sold
Up for grabs is my wilderness systems tarpon 140.
14 ft kayak is pretty fast (cruise at 3.5-4mph all day)
I added 2 flush mounted rod holders.

I've taken this into the ocean many times with no problems.

I will throw in my custom PVC scupper hole cart and the roof rack for free! Also included is a paddle and seat cushion (not shown).

Also have been roughed up on the bottom side from being launched from shore. Does not have Any leaks. Has a few holes drilled on the topside that I used to mount my electronics.

Will be upgrading kayaks so letting this one go.

Located in San francisco.

General Talk / Re: Winter fishing?

Delta is a gold mine for black bass and other species during winter! Just gotta work for them

Haha same I usually accidentlally catch them fishing for black bass. Do you also feel like you've hooked into a giant black bass when you hook into a striper accidentally haha

Welcome to NCKA!

Last weekend I launched out of big breaks and hit a school of stripers that we're great fun to pull on! In the 15-17" range nothing big tho. I was fishing on the incoming tide

Introductions / Hello!

Hello all!

My name is Yufay and I live in San Francisco.

I enjoy fishing the delta for striped bass and largemouth. I also like fishing in the ocean for lingcod, rockfish, and crabs. I want to learn more about salmon fishing and shall try some more when they're running closer to shore!

I currently have a wilderness systems tarpon 140 but want to upgrade to a pedal kayak (PA12 or outback). Waiting to find a good deal on Craigslist.

Fun fact: a little over a month ago, a sea lion jumped on my kayak and flipped me over out of half moon bay. Thankfully there were other kayakers nearby and helped me out. Really appreciate it whoever you guys are!
