Just a shore report...I went to Paradise pier today (May the 4th be with you-I must be a Sith because the force definately wasn't with me). I fished from 0830-1230. Rain and wind.  I threw a swim bait the entire time. Zero bites for me. Sucked. The party boat "Gold Rush" (never heard of it until today) was out in from of the pier around 9am. One net seen. Unknown fish caught by them. I did not get a bite. A couple smelt chased my swimbait to the pier and I left at 1230. Two guys using live bait (shiners caught at the pier) caught a limit of stripers (18-24") close to the shore during the time I was there. Only two others there at the north end of the pier. I only saw them catch one (looked short) striper. Pretty slow. The launch looked descent besides the hill to get there. Definitely would love some help on the bel Marin beach launch secret area. I drove over there but didn't find it. I would like something easier than walking back up that hill towing my kayak. Going to hit the bay tomorrow (New Huck Finn) on a party boat. I'm lazy. Cheers and tight lines.

Thanks for the report. I hate getting skunked while others are catching. In the rain would suck even more.
I discovered the "secret launch" on my own once and posted a pic on here and the elders did not like it so I took it down.  It uses private docks so in theory the owner could deny access but I think a posted sign indicates that it is public access (that was probably required by BCDC during the development application). But I don't know. There is plenty of shoreline access next to that spot so it seems like they could install a more public dock or ramp, eliminating any issues.
