Congrats to DeepseaDrew on catching the new record for the Trout category at 28.5” long!
http://aoty.norcalkayakanglers.com/leader_board/6954/show
It’s also the 18th highest scoring fish ever. Or 8th highest ever if you remove the 10 sturgeon over 220.8 points. In that case, the only higher scoring fish were a rockfish, a wsb, a brown trout, 2 cali butts, and 2 stripers.

Thank you everyone. I still can't believe I caught that trout. I really appreciate this site, the people who comment, and the moderators. I hope everyone has good fishing this year and breaks some of their own PBs.

Congrats, Drew!
That lake stocks some giants every so often.

I've caught my PB trout from that lake. Too bad I didn't sign up for AOTY that year.
