General Talk / wheelez/Bonnlo cart capsize question
« on: February 12, 2021, 12:30:09 PM »
I can self rescue and flip my yak over on my own.  I just got the Bonnlo cart with the balloon wheels and I had been tying it to be the the back of my Revo 13 when I am on the water.  I was wondering if I should capsize with that strapped to the back would I be able to turn the yak over again with those balloon wheels strapped to the back.

The other thing I could do is store the wheels in the front hatch and just tie the frame to the back of the yak.

I know I should probably try it to find out, but I would like to hear if anyone with these kinds of carts would weigh in.  Below is a photo of the bonnlo cart with balloon wheels

General Talk / MD 180 drive tie down method and location on Revo 13
« on: January 23, 2021, 12:59:23 PM »
I was wondering what was best method to tie down your 180 drive for beach launch/ landing.  I was about to put a ring on the front wall of the yak ( next to the sail post) and leash it there but decided to check to see what other revo owners were doing first, and if there was a preferred method.   thanks in advance.

---I posted the original msg to the wrong spot, but I was not able to delete it.  Sorry admin!

Craftsmen's Corner / Hoble Revo 13 internal float removal
« on: January 07, 2021, 09:24:10 PM »
Hi

I am trying to install a GT90 track behind the seat on the left side.  There is black float inside the yak and I am not sure how to remove it so that I can screw in the GT90 track nuts.  IS there a way tpo install the GT90 track without removing the black float?

Also is there a document that shows all the internal parts ( strings, pulleys, etc ) of the revo 13?  I found alot of diagrams for the outback on the hobie site but nothing on revo 13.  I must not be searching correctly.

thanks in advance

« on: January 01, 2021, 11:44:30 PM »
Hi EVeryone.

I just got my Revo 13 and i noticed that there is a single black float inside the kayak. and it was only on the right side.  was there suppose to have been 2 floats?

Can anyone with a revo 13 confirm how many internal floats there are supposed to be?  Mine is the 2020 model.

thanks

Introductions / Monterey Fisherman

Hi All,

Been mostly bank fishing and finally decided to try yak fishing.  Still deciding on the yak -  but leaning towards revo 13 for the pedal drive and weight.
Still got lots to buy and learn and hope to meet some seasoned yak fishermen to learn from.

thanks and have a good weekend all. :smt001
