How deep was the tidepool??

Thanks!

Depth varied but there's about a quarter mile of rocky shoreline that you can spend a day exploring when the tide is at it's lowest. Some pools were the size of a car and were at least 5 - 8 FOW. I plan to free dive these pools one day and take more pics (if it's legal of course). TONS of little crabs...must explain why there's a healthy population of cabbies. Some of the exposed reef where fairly hard to get to without getting wet but can be done with the proper attire  :smt002

There's also a sign posted on the bluff saying you cannot take ANYTHING with in the tidepools...and this area is heavily patroled by rangers = just an FYI

There's definitely more life in these tidepools compared to Fitsgerald marine Reserve in HMB = IMO

saw a few people picking through the tide pools at fort ross yesterday and as i was coming back down with the truck the rangers had them stopped by the fort and they had a clear bucket filled with water and i do not know what, but he told them to take it back to the water and release what ever was in the bucket. isnt it illegal in every tide pool area to remove things?

don't know the answer to that.....and I've seen poke polers catching monkey face eels at the tide pools in HMB...I assume perhaps that the trail heading to the tide pools would have a sign with the regs on it???

I'd like to start a poll:

If you bake a pie and offer it to some friends...do you bring :

A)  forks
B) spoons
c)  knifes

I say "A"...but apparently, our good friend Allen (who by the way made a delicious berry pie :smt007) decided that it was "better" to bring knives instead  :smt017 Is there some sort of logic to this????? Plese help our confused friend  :smt002

*sorry for the thread jack...it's Allen's fault  :smt001

The sign is for "The Tide Safety Tips" not rules!  Should be no proble snorling in these pools and take pictures of the marine life there.
