Wanted To Buy / Used Hobie cart

Just bought my very first-ever Hobie (Compass). I am currently using a C-Tug cart which was great for my old paddle kayak, but not so good for this new kayak (it's the loading that is the problem). I am having enough trouble trying to stretch my super tight hip flexors to accommodate the mirage drive without the added trouble of loading the kayak. If anyone has a used Hobie cart that they can part with, please let me know.

Good condition with minor wear. Very stable kayak! Not the fastest but very durable. $400 firm.

I'm heading out to Rancho Seco for the very fist time in a couple of weeks and would appreciate any tips on the best places for bank fishing (trout) or lure for trolling if we decide to rent an electric boat.

I found all this solder (long bars and short) hidden in the garage when we did a spring cleaning. I don't need it, and I'm not sure if it's even usable to make weights. No clue on what to ask for it. If you want it and would like to trade something of what you think is equal value, let me know.

General Fishing Tips / J-hooks

A friend of mine has a Toyota 4-Runner with rials on the top that run front to back--no cross piece. He needs to car top his kayak but doesn't know which J-hooks to buy to fit those kind of rails (He says they're shaped like pyramids). Any suggestions?

Very nice kayak but I'm about 3 hours from the ocean (where this kayak probably belongs). So, if anyone has a stable kayak that would be good in reservoirs and small lakes and wants to trade for the Viking, let me know. I'll provide pics if interested.

I don't know the year--it was purchased from a friend (he didn't know it either). The chains on the mirage drive look good; no rust. I put handles on it so I could lift it easier. There is a tear in the cushion of the seat. I'm asking $500. I don't know what these go for used. I'm a paddle-guy.

I'm dropping the price to $300.

General Talk / new Hobie confusion

So I just picked this up today. The guy I bought it from didn't know the model--it has Mirageon it; I've heard of Revo and Outback, but I thought Mirage just referred to the drive. It's heavy and the drive has clips that I have to turn to lock in the drive. It also doesn't have any scuppers, so I'm probably looking at a wet ride. Any info from the pics will help.

What's the body of water on hwy 17 coming out of Los Gatos toward Santa Cruz? I pass it going to get my daughter at UCSanta Cruz and never see anybody on it fishing. It looks like there's access off Bear Creek Road(?), but I'd like to look it up online.
