My health has taken a downward turn at the age of 77 Have arthritis in all my joints. Am still mobile most days. But need some one to fish with for safety reasons. Need a helping hand at times. Don't smoke or drink. I take pride as being a people person. My 16ft DB Jack is very stable Has 2 manual down riggers 2 electric motors one I-pilot controlled. life jackets and very comfortable. I like to troll for trout. Can fish most mornings. I mostly troll the Quarry Lakes in Fremont or shadow cliff in Pleasanton. Can any one tell what species this is. I caught it trolling a J9 Rapala in the Quarry.

Had to go for a little theropy today. Started trolling around 7:30 am J7 rapala fire tiger and silver and black lures of the day. 18ft to 20 ft OTW.Lures 50ft to 60ft behind DR weight.2mph GPS. Got to 70 degrees serface temp. No luck for several hours. Time for a desperate move. Moved the lures with in 30ft of the DR wieght and had 4 hook ups with in the next 30 min. Maybe the flash on the DR wieghts helped. Maybe the hum of the DR wire. 3 looked like what DFG plants. 1 around 3pds + covered with scar tissue (bad) from sores. All released to grow larger.Off the water at noon.

Trolled the Quarry today. Hadn't been there for a while 7am to 1pm. Not one hookup. Very slow. Was told I should have been there last week. Saw two kayaks going into Rainbow lake. Talked to one kayaker. He was new to kayaking. Was targeting bass. No luck. It can only get better. The alge bloom is clearing up some what.
