Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Waterproof Digital Scale?
« on: July 04, 2018, 01:03:28 PM »
Does a waterproof digital scale even exist? I have a Berkeley digital scale but it got splashed and now doesn't work. I might have had a new PB largemouth yesterday but the scale was broken. I know electronics and water doesn't mix but I'm not fond of the pocket scales that most places sell as I've yet to find one accurate enough for weight that doesn't exceed 10 lbs, even then they can be off a half a pound.

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Self rescue and electronics question
« on: February 16, 2018, 07:08:29 AM »
I need to practice my self rescue to be ready for the rock fish opener this year. Obviously I'll have my fish finder unit off of my kayak to practice. I'm wondering about the electrical connectors. Do I need to take the wires out too or could I Jerry rig something? Saran wrap the fuck out of it? Thanks guys.

Introductions / Re-Intro after a few weeks hiatus
« on: January 16, 2018, 09:40:19 AM »
So I got a new account and here is my intro. I was Don't Rock The Yakbah but something happened with the site update and my username was invalid because of the apostrophe. I was "locked out" of the site for ten days and I was getting withdrawls. Now to get my post count up to view the reports without spamming the site.
