Hey troutnut, thanks for the info. Where exactly is Disco Bay ? I tried looking at map of Discovery bay to no avail. Is it actually located inside the community ? Also best place to launch (kayak) there and/or any free places to launch at Discovery ? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Disco bay is short for Discovery Bay

There're LMB in lake Chabot (Vallejo). I caught my LMB there in February. If you're after the hogs, then go to Clear Lake.

Yeah, I have been LMB fishing at Chabot but never caught anything even when sight fishing during the spawn. What kind of bait did you use when you caught that fish ?

Fellas where is the best place to go bass fishing for largemouths in the Delta for a newbie ? Also besides the yak, paddle, life vest, and fishing equipment, what other accessories would I need or should I have ?

I'm an experienced bass fisherman but new to Kayaking/kayak fishing and the Delta. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fellas, I'm a new kayak bass fisherman and was wondering where are the places to go Black Bass fishing in the SF bay area (lakes prefered but Delta OK too.). Thanks in advance. BTW, live in the North bay area, Vallejo to be exact.

New to this Kayak fishing craze. I'll be there. Was looking for something like this to attend. Having said that, anywhere near Vallejo or the SF bay area a good/great place to go kayak "Bass" fishing ? Thanks in advance and any information, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
