what I didn't add was that Alan had to make it a trade, he wouldn't just take thr reels. Gave me a power handle and stuff to up grade drag, washers and grease and wouldn't take a penny

I was there this afternoon, rebuilt one reel and had a great time doing it.
Ended up giving it to Alan and one I thought was hopeless. Alan starts kids
off on fishing, gives them rod and reel set up to get them started off right.
Pretty obvious that he really enjoys giving to others.

Caples Lake Campground is right across the road from Caples Lake resort.
34 sites four are tent sites. No reservations first come basis.
Caples lake resort has a few cabins, pretty pricey unless shared, also has a few lodge rooms. No camping.

Seems it's a no brainer to do what ever it takes to keep invasive species out of our waters, there shouldn't be a need for regulations and people to enforce them.

I checked the front hatches this morning and it's not just the gasket the hatch is warped. My 140 is worse than the 120, I'm gonna look for some that santoprene was lovenly called frogs butt and see what I can do with that

Went out tonight after work to get my 140 loaded for a trip to Del Valle only to find a good two gallons of water in it from recent rains. Those new hatches stink. I also had the front handle come off on my wife's 120, I like the way it paddles but not enough to buy WS again,,,
