Doran Beach Crab/chill fest 2024

Who all is coming out?  I’ll be there Wednesday thru Sunday.  Hoping for some good weather and tasty crab. Maybe a uke jam or two also.

Hey Scott, Scotty here, just found out my schedule is clear for sat the 27th!
Since I’m local no camping just a day trip.
Could use some crab but would Luv to see some peeps whoo like doing what I like doing!
U said Uke jam…? I’m totally down for that one! Afternoon thing I would guess…
Oh yea,I put in an order for low wind, no rain, low swell, sunny day so that one is covered!!!
3 weeks out but will be here b4 u know it!

Not just Jetty full, they are all full: Cove, Gull, Shell, even Miwok tent is full that weekend.

They are always full now a days, but you can still find people cancelling by watching the reservations website.

I'll try to snag a camp spot, checking daily for cancellations.  What site you in buddy? 
Probably just me, Denise says she wants nothing to do with 'those hooligans'.  Ha!  Just kidding, she has something else on her calendar.  I would be baching it. 

we have the cove area from 67-70 i think. Going to be All the family and grandchildren playing. Come by and see Carrie and I! might even be some cobbler going down

We currently have a spot in the Jetty, not sure which one. As of now we are planning on being there. Hope to see some familiar faces.

By grace of a fellow NCKAer, we have site 102 and will be there from Friday to Sunday.  Woohoo!!!

They just announced we can use traps again starting on the 12th.

Jerry, sites were already booked up over 10 months ago. I had friends try to get reservations back in may and couldn’t.

I got mine in December, just on a whim checked and booked it.

If it’s the weekend of the 27th, then I might be able to show up! Any details on the event? Things to bring?

Well they are lifting the trap prohibition on the 12th...

This is not an event, it's just a weekend of people camping out on the coast (a majority of campers here from NCKA) The last official Crabfest happened in 2022.
