The stripers are so abundant in the lake that it is one of just three lakes in the whole state that has no size limit on them and the limit is ten instead of two as is the limit in the state.

Been there, bout a month ago.  Launched at coast guard station.  Dropped traps in about 80' of water at point Diablo, then pedelled to point Bonita lighthouse for a half limit of various cod. Was able to get 5 nice dungies on the way back.  But never got harassed by coast guard.  Just be aware of huge Big 10' swells from cargo ships blowing by every hour.  Kinda made it difficult pullin traps up.  Time the tide so your not coming in on the outgo.  Hobie PA did pretty good.  Just be well conditioned, stretch out, be safe.
