For Sale / WTS: Ocean Kayak Torque $1500
« on: September 20, 2011, 10:42:54 AM »
Long time lurker of the great forum that is Norcalkayakanglers, selling my Ocean Kayak Torque.
Was purchased about two years ago and only used a handful of times. I don't have the time to use it as much as I should, so its time to see if anyone is interested in buying it. I purchased it from AustinKayak.com, if you are not familiar with this model it comes with a Minn Kota trolling motor with both forward and reverse with approximately 5 hrs of operation per battery charge. Everything on the kayak is brand new it comes with a paddle and gel seat cushion.. We can negotiate for the battery, and EZWheels.

Looking for $1,500 price is firm.

I am willing to deliver, because obviously the buyer might not have a roof rack. Depending on where you are located I might charge for delivery.
If interested please feel free to email me at CamCamFTW@aim.com
I can answer any questions you might have.

I currently don't have any pictures as the kayak is not stored at my home, but a quick google image search will help you out.

Thank you
Happy Kayaking

Yea, In fact I was there a couple weeks ago. (non yak) Now that I have a Yak I'm going to have to make a trip out there. I've seen the stripers on the forums that people have pulled out of Del Valle wouldn't mind one of those as my first fish on yak.

Yea maybe we could set something up, although I'll have to see how next week works. Might have to bring some powerbait next time, its gotten to the point were i just want to reel in something out of that stupid lake  :smt044

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Lake Chabot 7/16
« on: July 16, 2010, 06:42:22 PM »
Took my new Kayak out and hit Lake Chabot unfortunately got skunked. I paddled over to bass cove and there were some big trout jumping around, but all I had was bass tackle should have brought the fly rod. Was on the water for 4 or so hrs, few nibbles but no real solid bites. I was throwing swim baits, lizards, worms, and lures. From what I could tell the people in boats weren't having any luck either. Still a fun day, but overall lifetime I'm 0-5 at lake chabot for bass I need to find away to get on the board.

General Fishing Tips / Re: How do you keep fish fresh in your kayak?

Here are a couple options, some will fit IN the boat if you have a large front hatch . . .

I'm liking this sit on top method, thanks for passing that along

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Ocean kayak torque storage
« on: July 08, 2010, 04:16:10 PM »
Hello NCKA

Long time lurker first time poster, I recently ordered and received a ocean kayak torque. My only issue that I have noticed thus far is the storage spot behind the seat. Its a very small spot and it has these tabs, I can't seem to figure out what would go there. It's to small for tackle box or a cooler as seen below.

Any suggestions on what I could possible put there?

I am going to go with a milk crate and shimano live well bag for behind the tabs.
