Looking for the best casting setup for distance in the 300 or less range say 150 for the reel or less and 150 or less for the pole
I personally prefer a 7-5"-8 foot but let's see we're I should put my 50 $ coated braids I am talking farest casting set up for fresh water

How many places I have fished without any real knowledge of water quality how many of you have a clue whats in the water we're you fish ?
Example comanche had or may still have an chemical additive plume MTBE
It was a mandated additive for ca gasoline nasty stuff
Of course the delta has areas that are plain nasty at times

I was thinking it may be fun to have a contest just for fun
The idea is you take say 5 locations latitude and longitude
Would be used you have to sail to each location and fish for an given minimum time before moving to the next location you get 1 point for each fish and one point for every inch of fish
I'm thinking you want enough distance that you need to sail
Unlike normal comtests we keep the fish and cook them on shore
Looking to see if there would be any interest in this and ideas to make it fun for all
