Does anyone use the rod balancers for Sturgeon or other bait fishing, and if so any feedback?

Making the tough decision to sell my new Kayak.  I have used the Kayak 2 times, and just don't have the time.  I am selling everything, crab traps, accessories, anchor trolley kit, beach wheels, plastics, rods, H crate two types of roof racks Yakima big catch (unopened) rhino rook kit, rod holders, new medium action rods, everything basically brand new. 916-390-1250
$6,000

Any tips for a great anchor set up, or ones to avoid?

Was wondering if all those little holes were ghost, just another reason to go to bodega!  I have seen a ton of those little holes on the beach from the bodega head side just across from Doran.

General Fishing Tips / Rod holder question
« on: July 25, 2021, 03:37:50 PM »
Maybe a dumb question, but my friend had a boat with rod holders that you just placed the handle of the rod into a V shaped gripping holder that would swivel around and allow forward and backward movement which was nice when bait fishing and bumpy conditions.... What is that holder called, and has anyone seen one on a kayak?

Right on!  Thanks for the info.  Planning on hitting san pablo and the delta hard this fall for dino, will be nice if I can get a consistent quality fresh bait.

Hey all, I have seen how good HMB is for this, but I live near sac.  Wondering if anyone has success getting bait closer?

I have the Raymarine Element that has quite a few cool features but I mostly just use the regular sonar. One of the chart plotter features is relief shading. I am super happy with it and use it constantly in the ocean. Not much use for it in the bay though. Here is a picture of the chart plotter on my pad:
That looks awesome!  Chart plotting is def something I will needing for the ocean and san pablo bay.
