Still looking for some Nor Cal submissions, where are those Lings???

The lings are out of season until July.  As a group we're pretty much in a freshwater rut at the momemt with an occasional steelhead or sturgeon thrown in from our coastal bays and rivers.  Many of us *GASP* even hang our kayaks up for the season until the ocean regulations opens up again in the summer.

Didn't realize the lings were closed now. You can submit fresh water as well. It is any species.

The largest fish of the month was Jscott from Granada Hills with a Thresher Shark

We have had some complaints that taking the shot, holding the fish and doing the shaka was just to tough. So, If the Skaka is just to tough, go ahead a print a copy of this months sponsors logo and show it with your fish.
Please make it larger when you print it.



We will accept photo submitted with either the logo or the hand sign.

The February winners are in, thanks to wavester for making it easy.
The Target species for the month was an Ocean Whitefish, on the first roll of the dice we hit a #3, which going by the photos would of given the prize to Lamb. Unfortuanately he did not submit weights with his fish. A re-roll was done and came up #1.

The April photo item.
Print up the Lamiglas logo and slap it on the fish, or at least next to it.

The winner of the April contest is Sterling with a red ear Sunfish. He wins a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and a new Lamiglass Kayak fishing series rod.
As you can see the fish does not have to be big to win.

Sorry for the delay getting this out.

The target species for May was another small one, Lady fish and a two was rolled. So the second largest Ladyfish is the winner Bigfish171 with his whopping 1 pound 14 inch, in Tampa Bay Florida.

He wins a new Surf to Summit GTS seat and a pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses. He is also entered into the year end drawing for the Stay at Punta Colorada.


The Largest fish goes to Dennis “Bohloe1” with his 46.2 pound White Seabass caught in La Jolla


He will be entered into the end of year drawing for the trip to Punta Colorada.


Don’t forget the photo item for June is the Werner Logo, this must be in the fish photo as well as the weight of the fish, length helps also.

The July photo item is the La Jolla Kayak Fishing LOGO, old or new is fine.

The big fish for September was caught by Wavster a forty pound White Seabass, he is entered to win the stay at Punta Colorada.
