Game one in a lil over an hour. Hyped and ready, drinking and sweating! Its been well worth the wait but the green and gold is back in the final table. Are we going to fold this hand or come out firing with aces? Maaaaaayn! This wait is killing me, all NL teams will have two games under their belt before we even see our first pitch...

Fish Talk / Need Info on salmon fishing from shore, Fortuna, ca

Hey guys, I have to drive up to Fortuna tomorrow and I have quite an amount of time to kill in the afternoon. I'm planning to throw some spinners for kings in the lower eel river but I don't know the regulations in the area. Is the season even opened yet? Do I need a punch card? Is it barbless hooks only? Any info would help me, thanks in advance.

I'm looking to rent a spit for my kids birthday that is coming up next month. The wife wanted a luau theme... Upon looking online, I'm pretty stumped as to where to rent one. Fish Talk / Jumbo Jumbo Minnows!

I thought I needed to share. So I went to Mike's bait in Oakland earlier today looking to buy some jumbo minnows for tomorrow. I get up to the counter and I see some jumbo minnows in his tank, I proceed to ask him "to mike u got any jumbo minnows?" He replies "nah man I'm all out." I'm thinking Wtf? lol so I ask him what were those swimming in his tank. He then goes "oh those ain't jumbos, they're jumbo jumbos." I couldn't stop laughing inside. to be honest, these minnows were definitely bigger than your jumbo minnows. here's a pictures of a jumbo vs jumbo jumbos. you be the judge.

I'm itching for sturgeon or striper action. We used to do real good fishing this slough off the banks. Bank access is very limited these days though, good thing I have a yak. Will head out before dawn and launch at Georgiana slough fishing access and head down river. pm if u wanna join.
