Thanks people!

Good Times, Matt.  Nice work.   :smt001

Thanks Eric, if you come down to the bay this winter you should try and get a dinosaur!

Thanks for the video. I was out there yesterday with Ed (NCKA handle spaghetti). I think I heard you on the radio in the morning, but I didn't see any other kayakers on the water. Lots of PBs though. I only caught 2 leopard sharks. Now I'm up to 5 leopards in my last 2 outings. Ed had an epic day on Wednesday (the day I couldn't make it of course), but I'll let him share that story.

John
Dang that’s a lot of leopard sharks! Hopefully they clear out soon. I saw a few different yakkers out there in between the breaks in the fog, feel free to holler back next time!

Great stuff, Matt! More action than I had expected and interesting how sturgeon vaccum up  the bait.

Thanks! Yeah the sturgeon bite can be addictive once you get into the pursuit

Launched from China Camp beach on my Hobie Outback into some heavy fog looking for Sturgeon in SPB. I managed to get 3 different species and enjoyed the flat calm water! When the fog cleared there were over ten boats in my general area! I used live ghost shrimp and caught most of my fish at the top of the incoming tide. The water temperature was around 51-52 degrees. Thanks for watching!

Thanks guys! Hopefully there will be more fish caught and more videos made!!! Looking forward to seeing y’all out there.

Whatsup everyone, I metup with Ish with Fish on Saturday for a quick sturgeon session. We only had a couple hours to fish unless we wanted to do a mudwalk! I was lucky enough to catch two sturgeon, both on ghost shrimp on the outgoing tide. Water was cold at 48. Thanks for watching!

Hey guys,

I went to SPB yesterday for some sturgeon action. Hit the water around 9:30 and saw that TLA and MooMoo were already anchored up. Made it to the guys at around 10am and tossed my first offering out. I managed to get two sturgeon at the top of the incoming tide, both on live ghost shrimp! Water temp was 48 in the morning but rose to 52 by the afternoon. Its just starting to heat up in SPB! Get out there, be safe and have fun!

Skipped the lines and mayhem at the malls on Black Friday for some outdoor fishing action! Anchored up in San Pablo Bay with Eddie for a couple hours in pursuit of Sturgeon. Managed to catch a baby sturgeon and a few striped bass! Sorry for the poor camera angle, I will fix that. Stay tuned for more Sturgeon action!

Safety First / Re: HMB distress call on Sunday 11/3
« on: November 08, 2019, 12:46:53 PM »
I’ve personally observed two different individuals who were unable to to re-enter their kayak after flipping with waders. They both needed assistance from fellow kayakers  to get back on.

I think a lot of newer kayak fisherman throw on a pair of old waders so they dont have to invest in drysuit/wetsuit but these same individuals usually haven’t practiced re-entering a kayak which can be a recipe for disaster.

I enjoyed the read! It is nice to know that waders can be used safely(belt/pfd) but I would still be wary in the colder waters up here and in the ocean.

Sounds like a great idea. Let me know when the meetup is! On a side note I’m hoping for one last salmon of the season before sturgeon season gets going! Hope to see you out there
