For Sale / Re: Deps 250

I don’t go on this board too often anymore, figured I’d post to the classified. As for the lure being in amazon for a lesser price, that’s cool, make an offer.  Every price listed in classifieds anywhere is just a starting point. As for those mocking the price or those paying for lures this price what’s it to ya. Guys in here’s spend upwards of 5k on kayak fishing setups, 500+ on rod and reel combos, countless dollars on bait that they soak for stripers or sturgeon that that get skunked countless more times. What about the time and money spent in fishing trips. If you aren’t interested in this lure no problem, move to another listings otherwise mind your business and move on. Those in glass houses should mind what stones they throw.

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: Ws ride 115 seat upgrade
« on: March 10, 2016, 04:06:43 PM »
I bass fish out of it for hours on end. Was sitting in it for 10 hrs last week before the rain came in and didn't get out once. I tend to adjust myself quite a bit through the day from up right to lounging. I didn't feel any discomfort last week but there I times when my tail bone really kills, especially if I'm out a couple days in a row. The beach chair style seat just looks like it would be less rigid to sit on plus you can high - low it to get a better perspective throughout the day. Thanks for the input, I think it's something that I will have to think about but seems like it would be a good investment.

Thanks Rob, I was talking about the second one. Looks like an awesome seat. Does it fit the tightly in the seat groves for the original seat? Looks like a good investment. Stay cool traildad...posted here cause it seems like a place everyone looks at, you saw the post topic, you didn't have to click on it.  :smt006

Just saw the ws AirPro phase 3 seat and was curious if anyone has one and what your thoughts are about it. It looks a lot more comfortable than my current seat , reminds me of the Jackson and hobie seats. It's a bit pricey but if it's more comfortable then it may be worth it. Thanks for any input.

General Fishing Tips / Anyone been to folsom lately?
« on: November 20, 2015, 05:04:27 PM »
Was thinking of heading out to folsom tomorrow to catch some bass. I've heard that it is difficult to launch because of muddy shoreline. Just wondering if anyone has been out there and how launching was for them. Thanks for reading.

General Fishing Tips / Ride 115 high seat
« on: June 10, 2014, 07:44:36 PM »
Looking into buying a high seat for my ride 115. Just looking for any of your guys' thoughts on the high seat if you have one. I am in the sac/woodland area, curious if any one would be willing to swap seats for a weekend or meet up for a fishing trip so I might be able to try one out before I make the purchase. I am a bigger guy so I am concerned about lost stability, but the added comfort may be worth it.

General Fishing Tips / Re: How much wind is too much?
« on: March 07, 2014, 08:48:16 PM »
Thanks for the responses. We made it out the berryessa today and lucky for me the forecasters got it wrong. Other than in the morning the wind was calm most of the day. The bass bite is on out there. Landed around 30 bass and missed about a dozen more. Good size, mostly males from 2-4 lbs and a to if smallies, witch is always fun. All fish came in plastics, couldn't get any takers in reaction baits.

General Fishing Tips / How much wind is too much?
« on: March 06, 2014, 04:39:17 PM »
Heading back to berryessa tomorrow and its looks to blow all day. From what I've seen it is supposed to be around 9mph all day with gusts up to 15+. For the most part I have only paddled around 5mph wind but I know 10+ is even a pain in a 20 foot bass boat. What are your guys' take on fishing in the wind and what is too much wind?

General Fishing Tips / Re: Berryessa Mud

Take a look at the largemouth pic. It's a 3/16 shaky head with a 7 inch zoom trick worm in green pumpkin.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses, it was a good day. Good to meet you out there ATD. Nice to hear the kayaks were doing well. Solid pics on the AOTY page, I'm gonna have to think about signing up for that.

General Fishing Tips / Berryessa Mud
« on: March 02, 2014, 05:15:51 PM »
Was able to get out to berryessa today for some bassin in the mud. Headed out to Capell Cove and was met with some of the muddiest water that I have fished in a long time. I putted around for the first hour paying with my new fishfinder and throwing crankbaits. Got my fist bite on a 6 inch black/blue senko, a nice three pound largemouth in 10 ft of water. Went about any hour with nada, them picked up the shaky head. Ended the day with nine total, eight on the shaky head. The key was violently shaking the worm then pause/drag and repeat. Most of the fish came from the back to 5 ft. Didn't have the best rain gear on so decided to get off the water around 1:00. All in all it was a great day and awesome to not have to grind it out deep for a change.

General Fishing Tips / Re: Clear lake
« on: February 24, 2014, 07:15:28 PM »
Thank you all for the info, checked the spot out in google earth and it looks like it could be pretty productive. I am rigging up my new lowrance elite 4 this week and am hoping to get out there this weekend (depending on the weather conditions). May have to push it back if the wind forecast isn't favorable. Either way I will report back when I get out there. Thanks again for the info.

General Fishing Tips / Clear lake
« on: February 21, 2014, 08:50:39 PM »
Thinking of making a trip to Clear lake. Does anyone know of some spots on the south portion of the lake that have good kayak access. I have never been there, I know it is a big lake but the bass are calling me. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks
