Capitoal Wharf Update, repairs to take over a year

Sad to see the damage done to the Capitola Boat and Bait  .

Bummer!

Will be interesting how the skiff rental and fishing in Santa Cruz goes this season.

They said the boats and engines may be a total loss...  Maybe they should double down on kayaks ?

Sucks ! One of my favorite spots.

That's prolly it for those rentals, at least as we knew 'em.  That was a legacy family business run by the Ealys under JFS, Inc.  Like most family bizzes, they were faced w a host of issues (covid, succession planning, etc).  Tho SC rentals may continue (hopefully), i fear we'll never see Capitola boat rentals oper8 again
