Scuffed scratched up on the bottom far end from going up driveways, otherwise works perfect!  Got a rack so no longer needed.  Missing pics as it's in storage.  Comes with reflectors and pins.

2.  Wall mount racks $25

2 sets sold together (good for two kayaks).  They worked perfect for my revo's.  Back to apartment living sadly so no longer using these.

General Fishing Tips / Anyone ever go for the evening bite?
« on: June 11, 2019, 02:37:36 PM »
As much as I love fishing, I hate waking up early.  The exhaustion takes up the rest of the day after going out, and locks up the previous night due to having to be in bed early...alcohol free  :smt012

I grew up bass fishing, where we typically go for the evening bite.  Super convenient and could happen after work.

With ocean/bay fishing, I'm finding it frustratingly difficult to get out on the water.  Either sacrifice my Friday night + Saturday or try and sneak out for a quick session before work.

So this has me thinking, does anyone go for an evening bite in the ocean or bay?

The obvious concern is wind, but it seems wind peaks in the afternoon, then drops off in the evening.  On calm days I don't see why not?  Tell me why I'm crazy or would be wasting my time.

Hoping everyone can give me the ok on the equipment I'm buying especially the pfd and radio.

Feel free to recommend anything else I need (I already have a wetsuit, garmin 300c ff, fish grippers, and bilge pump).  This is for a Hobie Outback.

Introductions / Noob from San Jose
« on: October 19, 2017, 02:27:08 PM »
Hi.  Noob here from San Jose.  I went out for my first time at Pillar Point on a forum members Hobie Outback.  It was quite an experience (somewhat overwhelming) with the mixed swells!

Definitely gave me the itch to get my own setup and I'll be buying an Outback of my own and storing it in Carmel.  Looking to do trips all over Monterey and Bay Area, perhaps freshwater as well?  I'm a bass fisherman at heart so trying to get used to all this salt =D
