Congratulations to Uminichi Naoaki who won a spot to the Hobie Fishing Worlds 7 for his second place finish at the 2017 Shasta Bass Kayak Classic (First place chose the 2017 Hobie Outback)- SBKC will paying Naoaki's way to Sweden and once there Hobie will take care of him.

We are already working on the 2018 Shasta Bass Tournament - currently scheduled for Bridge Bay Resort, Lake Shasta - March 24-25, 2018. We will keep everyone posted let you know when we have all permits in place and registration opens.

Guess I'll be missing this one again along with a few others from California.  :smt013  That's the same weekend as the Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship back in Tennessee where we will be competing for $100,000 first place prize.  It's a shame as I'd love to be able to fish both events!
