Brothers,

What say you?

I got this semi drysuit at Craigslist last December from a paddler in Monterey who teaches in a University in Marina for $225.

My wife says I look funny and just landed from Mars. Who's gonna join her? Before you comment, remember how I open this post: "Brothers". :smt008

I look weird but I'm protected. Ain't that so? Any yakkers out there with the same outfit?

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in

Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the

growing up in the Santa Cruz area, nothing looks weird to me anymore!  I cannot recall who but I know there are others on NCKA who use dry suits.  Besides the fashion forward always get crucified before the trend gets big.

I think to a kayaker, it looks cool. To a non-yaker, looks nerdy?  ;-)

Peace, y'all

Look's great,
I've got the same one and Love it.
The Mfgr. states it as a semi-dri suit but for swimming at the surface it works great.
When I first got mine I swam in the pool for 1/2 hour without a drop inside.
Those who mock only due so because they are jelous.

Sailfish,

Not laughing. I did that too when practicing how to get into it.

Actually I have the Kokatak T3 dry suit.  The one I wear in the picture was a loaner from Clavey's when I sent in my Kokatak for repairing the socks on that suit.  I'm thinking about buying this Palm's dry suit for my spare since the price is right.  The only thing I complain about this suit is the neck area was too tight and make me a little uncomfortable.
