What time is everyone planning on arriving/ launching?  I was thinking about arriving between 6:30-7:00am.  Never done one of these yak BBQs, what should I bring?

Just got the kitchen pass from the wife, I'm in for Sunday at Stillwater.  Just got my new Prowler 13, so this will be the maiden voyage!  I'll call you later!

Here we go.....

Take Hwy 1 South to the Pebble Beach/ Pacific Grove Gate for the 17 Mile Drive, it will be straight ahead at the stoplight at the end of the exit.  Once past the Ranger Station, take the lower road to your left.  Follow the road until you get to the 1st entrance to Pebble Beach, I believe it is the Casa Palermo entrance.  Follow that road nearly all the way down to its end, and then turn left where the sign indicates Beach Club and Coastal Access.  It will bend to the right as you go.  You enter the parking lot for the Beach Club, and the loading/ unloading area is at the very end.  You will need to go back and park your vehicle in the small public lot on your left.

Not sure I'm up for waking up at 0dark:30, but I'll try.  Hopefully I'll make to help, and get help, with the unload.  See ya.

Would you say launch time about 6:30 or 7:00?  I'll likely see you there :smt006

Has anyone ever launched/ fished out of Seacliff Beach?  It seems the launch/ landing would be pretty doable.  How about the fishing, anything?

Ben,
Where did you get the "connectors?" for the cables to go into the wall of the kayak?  Any info would be helpful.  Your set-up looks great!

I have a new OK Prowler 13 Angler on the way, should be here Wednesday! :smt003  I am looking for ideas on rigging FF and rod holder on the front for starters.  I ahve been searching the site, but can't find many pics.  Any ideas and/ or pics would be appreciated.

It was a good time out there today.  The seal attack was pretty freaky wasn't it!?  Nice red.  I ended up with a couple keepers, a brown and a copper.

Good going!  I made it out to Stillwater, but ran into trouble fast.  Within the first hour I caught 1 decent Brown Rockfish on a Megabait, it flipped out of my hand and dropped it back in the water after getting the hook out, then broke my rod on a snag.  My backup rod was pretty light, so I couldn't fish anything heavier than 1.5oz.  Decided I was better off heading in after 2 hours. :smt005

I can't make it out on Friday, so I'm planning on Stillwater for Saturday.  Planning to get there by 6:30, anyone else going to be there?  This will be my 1st time out of Stillwater.
