How many here are interested if a group buy could be organized ?

I was in the same situation as ya.  I got lucky and picked up a slightly used one for pretty cheap couple weeks ago from a member here that was getting out of the sport.  Just keep your eyes peeled and just as hamachijohn said, you'll eventually come across someone unloading their gear.

Ok so I just spoke with Dan at the headwaters and he is looking to make a group purchase. We need 5 at the min. to make a group purchase, but if we can get 20 he can get an even better deal. PM me if you have any questions. Wishing I would have waited for this deal myself.

Just got off the horn with Wheeleez. If we have 5 or more I can get a pretty good price. If we get even close to 20 people I can get a really good price and offer free shipping to anyone in CA. Not sure of NCKA's rules about posting discounts and sales so I will leave the rest up to you guys. I will do the order at the end of next week. Just PM or call the shop to get prices and place your order.

I'm interested and can pick them up in Benicia so we can save the shipping in case we can't get 20 people.
