9 fish landed, 2 lost, only one keeper.  Fished from 9:30-12:30.  All caught on the O'neill "secret lure" between the "normal" buoy and the next one west.  Fish were on the edge of the weedbed, too shallow and I snagged, too deep and no bites.  Tried a bunch of other lures on a second rod with no takers.  Sorry to be so cryptic, but I can't recall what the name of the "secret lure" is, nor do I think I can accurately describe what the "normal" buoy is.  Perhaps Bill or Mooch can add some enlightenment here.

Hi Allen,

Way to go.  I have been duck hunting down by there ( a few weekend in a row)and I have never seen anyone fishing it in a Yak.

Glad you got them.

Thanks Ken.  It was you that turned us on to the secret lure.  For whatever reason, the 2 lost fish today were due to broken lines.  So I lost 2 of those lures.  Good thing I had 3 of them!!!  Must be time to change my line ... I was using my 6# outfits today and they for sure have old line on them.
