Sac Area meet and greet?

Any NCKA'ers game for a meet and greet somewhere in the Sac area?

Any ideas on dates or places welcome!

I'm in Woodland, we have a coupe of good spots on Main St., Ludy's (BBQ) and Osaka Sushi (formerly in Davis)

Lots of space here, with lite crowds etc.

Would be good to get a beer or soda, chow, and swap intel on the fishing the waterways around the valley.

I'm game.  My office is in Davis, so Woodland is easy for me, but Sac works just as well.  Hot Italian is a good place for groups, they have big tables we can belly up to and despite being totally biased because I'm friends with the owners, the pizza is ridiculously good.

If we're voting for BBQ or sushi, I vote sushi.

This week is tough but doable except Thursday and Friday.

Next week, Monday and Tuesday evenings are wide open, hopefully Wednesday night I'll be OTW, Thursday I have late meetings, but could be available by 7:30 p.m. or so.

Cool Ex, I lived in Davis for 20 yrs. - then we looked at buying a house...

We could meet somewhere in Davis too.

If more folks are interested Sac is cool with me, so is pizza, sushi, burgers, steaks, Indian food, Chinese, Mexican, beers. Did I forget anything?

I have time in the eves. after 5pm. so far this week any day works.

I should be able to make it in the evenings except Thursdays. I vote sac vs davis but can still make davis.

Sounds good. This week no go though. Racing Wed -Sun.  Next week, Goose hunt Tues, Wed. HOW on Fri, may go Thurs night. Other than that it's all good. Maybe week of 11th, or go without me. Pick a day and we'll see who can make it.

What about the idea of a fishing/ BBQ on a weekend somewhere in Sac? The best of both worlds there's discovery, negro bar, etc.  where you can put in and get out in the same location.

I like the sound of BBQ and fishing, but after glancing East while crossing the AR last Sun. I noticed that there was a huge weekend boat party that pretty much takes over the lower river... But I could see grilling some burgers at Discovery!

I like Negro Bar, I've never caught a fish in Natoma, except in that bass maze thru the tunnel. But - I could see grilling up some burgers there!

Anywhere else we could do a F&C? Folsom? The Port?   

Maybe we could do a meet and greet to plan a F&C?
Or is it bad form to have an agenda at a meet and greet?

BTW, I can't do this Thurs.

Sac. not too bad for me not sure about dates

I like a meet and greet to plan the F&C - weekends are tough for me being a single parent with a long distance girlfriend so a short notice F&C would be tough to pull off. 

Mark me down as officially lobbying hard for a M&G one weeknight evening next week.

Ok Ex, I like that as well.

Let's say next week, any day works for me, but how about Wed. somewhere in Sac.

BTW I'd be up for semi regular fishing pow wows. (For those who can't attend this one)

I was hoping to fish on Wednesday, so Monday or Tuesday would be perfect, but I'll happily trade my Wednesday night fishing for a little intel if that works better for folks.  I'd be down for a semi-regular meeting as well.

I'm kind of hoping some of the regular posters like striper_slayer and FishWorks916 will show up and drop some knowledge on this rookie.  Maybe I'll PM them with this link...

Next wed works for me. Actually anyday but the 5th or 7th. Im all for giving out intel.
