There was a six year stretch where I didn't watch a single flick in the theatres.  I think I went to see Ali at the Metreon, after which I was just like, enough of paying good money for crap.  But something about Inception seems pretty cool.  I'm going to have my movie screener/ brother watch it first and if it he gives me the thumbs up I'll give it a shot.

thx for the review bNb!

I saw it last Friday and agree. Non-stop action and a good story.  This one might be worth the extra price to see it in I-Max.

Saw it last night.  I was lost at the beginning cause I did know what is was about.  End up liking it.  But then I've always been a sci-fi kind of guy.   :smt012

Saw it last nite also.  Great flick...Hollyweird finally came up with an original idea instead of a lame remake or sequel!

With the kids we hadn't been to many movies in the last couple years, but recently we discovered the drive-in in san jose and concord.  $6.75 for a double feature and kids 5-11 are $1.  Inception/Iron Man 2 starts at 8:55 this week.  You can see two movies with the whole family for what it would cost to see one movie alone, and the little ones can't annoy other people with the windows up.

Tuesdays it's 4.75 for adults and kids up to 11 are free.  That works better in the winter though when the shows start at 7 and end at 11, rather than 9-1am.

If you bring a radio/earphones you can park in front of a kids movie and watch something else on an adjacent screen, though they do tent to put G and R movies on opposite ends of the lot.

You can bring your own food, beer and smokables too, and the snack bar prices are reasonable since you can bring your own stuff.  I recommend the super nachos.  ;)

Just remember to turn off your headlights...

True that!  I've been taking Sara every once in a while to the drive-in @SJ and its a lot of fun!  Cheap too!  The 4Runner is very comfortable to turn around backwards and watch out the rear window!  I generally go there for movies i'm not sure if I'll like too.  You can just drive over and watch a different one if you dont like it  :smt044

Saw it tonight in Imax.  Very creative, novel stuff.  I kind of nodded off during the first 40 mins, but otherwise thought it was good.  Got a little bit for everyone.  Action, drama, sci-fi, love/romance.  Just pack a snack, this sucker is long!

I just saw this movie today and I'm going to have to buck against the general consensus. I saw nothing crafty about about this storyline and the reason why it was so long was because they had to do some very creative editing to put anything together like a cohesive movie. There's just too many obvious holes in this movie - IMHO.
You want something that'll blow your mind, see Fight Club, Momento, The Butterfly Effect, The Usual Suspects and Johnnie Darko.
I saw it in IMAX and wasn't impressed, so before YOU spend $50+ after snacks, maybe you should be forewarned.
