I read about this somewhere and decided to try it out and it works great. A really big difference in the comfort level.
Fill an 11" x 17 " tilia foodsaver bag with  about 7 level cups of water. Place in a heavy duty nylon bag sewn to size and voila! Heavenly seating. I weigh 150 lbs and one of these lasted all last year till I holed it with a hook.
Be careful starting out as it can be like sitting on a ball bearing causing lower back  or balance problems. OK to sit full on when at rest and drifting, otherwise better to have the the thing under your thighs with some solid contact and some weight taken by the water.
You can also try 5 cups of water etc.
You don't need to move the pad to adjust the amount of contact, just shift the  water in the pad. Leave several cups of of air space before sealing.
