I know this isnt really applicable to this forum but it is paddling and I wanted to show some love for Mariah and the south and middle forks of the american river.
I also wanted to show what a good job the photo companies do with documentation. We came home with well over a hundred quality pictures.

Over the years Ive been blessed to have paddled this river many times but this trip topped them all.
I love the kayak but there is something about paddling a raft with strong experienced crew/friends that is on another level of special.
It helped that our guide was a beautiful little southern girl ,with a voice like honey, and all of us ,except for one, had paddled together before. The new addition was an ex CG rescue swimmer and pilot who at 48 was physically stronger than any of the rest of us. It seemed at times our guide was having more fun than us. She even let me guide a few rapids but my buddies did not appreciate my barking style in comparison to her sweeter softer commands and I was quickly requested back to the front of the boat.

Anyway, I cant recommend using "Mariah" enough if your interested in getting a group together for some WW fun on the american.
now the tribute :spiderman:

Holy Crap Terry! That looked like fun. I love the sitting on the bow shot, like Captain Ahab with a Spiderman chaser.
