CL and Mendo - Tues. 3/25 & Wed. 3/26 - CHANGED!!!!

Staying local for a couple reasons: 1) Lack of availability of others and 2) Father-in-Law & Brother-in-Law want to hit Del Valle on Monday 2/24 so instead of rolling solo up north to unfamiliar grounds, I've decided to go with the fam.

I know I'll end up regretting it with quality of fish, but fishing with family will be nice.

Will be hitting another local lake Tuesday 3/25.  Maybe Calero, maybe Loch Lomond, or possibly return to Del Valle, still up in the air.  Suppose I might still make the trek up north for just the day.



OLD PLANS:

I've got the week following Easter off and really want to hit Clear Lake & Mendo.  Sounds like CL is heating up   while the recent reports have Mendo not being ready by this time.

Haven't decided which lake I'll hit on what day.  I'm open and flexible if anybody is interested.  Hopefully I'm posting early enough that others can join me.

Well, I had thought about cancelling this trip and staying local but with all the AWESOME reports, I'll keep it alive.  Hopefully this next storm will blow thru and things will stabilize again.

May go from 1 day at CL & one day at Mendo to BOTH days at CL, depends on how the first day goes and feedback/interest I guess.

Would love to hook up with some people from the board.  I can possibly make it a Friday/Saturday thing if there's a possibility of more showing up.  Right now it is myself and a first-time yakker.

I am off from 3/27 - 3/31. I am waiting to see how the reports and weather go but I was thinking about either shelter cove for salmon/crab or clear lake/russian river for LMB and steelhead. Would like to hook up if it works out.

Scott, I just realized that I have my dates wrong.  It should be Tuesday 3/25 & Wednesday 3/26.  However I could change to Wed. 3/26 & Thur. 3/27.

Unfortunately I am not suited for ocean or river fishing - haven't done it and don't think I'm ready.  CL is a real possibility though.  Let's see what happens.
