I tried a Macski Kingfisher today at Moss Landing.
This ride is awesome!!!

I wished I could afford a new one ($1200) from the dealer, but
I did find a used one (rare) and will pick it up tomorrow.

Clean, one owner, only paddled it to church during fishing season.
I saved enough money to afford a seat, PFD, new rod, and some accessories, to be determined at a later date.

I can't wait to get it on the surf. I intend to do some playing next weekend at New Brighton, weather and guts permitting.

Now I see what you guys mean about the madness. I probably won't sleep well tonite LOL

Matt

I am sure I will make it your way, but it will be later in the year. I need a lot of practice in rough water and ned to get outfitted and all the safety equip first. The last thing I want to be is an anchor and a problem for everyone.

I plan to practice, practice, practice for a while on the big water before even taking anyt fishing gear with me.
I also plan to get some lessons operating in the surf, and hook up with Allen B. for some fishing tips and tricks.

Then do a lot of fishing here near Santa Cruz and Monterey.

Then I'll be ready for the madness up your way.

By the way all
The kingfisher deal fell through, but I bought a used WS T160i for a great deal and have used it now there times and caught fish everytime. It must be a lucky boat, cause I'm not a great fisherman.

Here are some pics it is the sand colored one, the other is Allen Bushnell's new OK Triton.
