Sorry for the late post. I had a blast at the Sand Crab classic. I decided to fish Montara most of the day. Started off well, using gulp worms and catching a red tail then a BSP. After that, I had a bunch of small fish. I decided to try a larger grub and then some big sand crabs for nothing. I went back to the gulp worms for more small to medium sized fish. Called it, and went to Pomponio for nothing. I was able to get a good variety of perch. Overall, caught a lot of fish, just nothing of size. The event was fun. Good food and good people. This is my second year and will look forward to it again next year.

They say Blonde's have more fun..  and platinum Blonde's  !!!!! ...  look out  !?!?!

You know those pics are from the day that we thought we had figured out Clayman's secrets.  I can say unequivocally, that it is not just the golden locks and straw hat.  Back to the drawing board ...

Clayman's reports from  lake Almanor should have  come with a disclaimer. " Not everyone will catch fish like this ".

Waiting for my turn to fish Almanor and see what the outcome will be for me.   :smt001

I will fish and "suck" with anyone! No need to fight over me.  :smt044

Next time I'm up in the Santa Cruz area, I'll PM all of you and we can have a mini-sand crab classic. And maybe check each other's rods out and "share" our crabs afterward....
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.
3rd place Kayak Connection Derby, 2014
45th place / 423 pts / 3 Species - AOTY 2014 (nowhere to go but up!)
30th place / 1132.25 pts / 7 Species - AOTY 2015 (moving up a little!)

Always looking for new people to fish with!

You saw it here 1st.  BTW Ryan.....I saw you heading down the parking lot I thought you were just going to get food.  couldn't find you the rest of the day.  I still have your tshirt saved from last year or two years ago, wanted to give it to ya at the derby.  You are always welcome to join me surfcasting I go all the time.  But if Alex Bulldoggie has convinced everyone he's more productive than me (and Alien) then so be it.  I'd love to fish with you soon anyway.

Bushy
