But seriously, calamari scampi is better than crab anything

Sauce:

Lots of butter
Lots of squid
Lots of garlic
Salt
Pepper

Put on pasta

Looks yummy. Someday I hope to get on a squid spawn and bring home some really fresh calamari.

Looks good, but I thought this thread was going to be about anchovies and sardines...

Wow, squidburgers. Do you add anything when making the patties?

Grinding it up for crab bait. I ran out of kittens. I freeze it in old plastic containers then drill a couple holes in them right before I go out.

Ah, you've found a way to make squid burgers taste just like crab cakes.

Nice--- i'm doing this next!!

when the big fresh ones are at wharf II for 1.50 lb,we will make deep fried with fish n chips etc..but that noodles and rings is gonna be next now---they are cheap are GREAT in Cioppino ... too many is hassle to clean though

I see folks call ahead and they fillet out 3 lbs for em cheap..its who you know

shitty squid there now 3$ for lb for nasty loose ones, 3.50 box lol--bait only

I tried to roast mackerel over a campfire during a skunked impromptu fishing trip. It ended up falling off and we just had smores and sleep for dinner
