So, I guess I'm going with the vertical rack from rvkayakracks.com.  The boat will stick up to about 13'.  But at least we don't lose our mobility.

DEFINITELY measure and give yourself some lee way.
My motorhome is lifted and has 33'' tires and my high point with the Hobie Revo on top is 12'4''. I look for 13' clearance or greater.
