The time has come,
I have been on many brands of kayaks, and exclusively on Ocean Kayaks for the last 8-10 years. Now is time for me to venture into the "Dark Side" with a Hobie.
I'm looking for either a Revo-13/16 or an outback. Needs to be 2015 or newer (must accept the new 180 drive) and any color is good .....
Except that Gawd Awful Orange.
Anyways,
If you have said boat available and would like to make some quick $$$, let me know.
Thanks for looking,
Eric / Yakhopper
;0)

P.S.
I don't even need the drive if it would save me  some $$$, and you can sell it for more profit.

The MD180 will fit in pretty much any year model boat

Are you sure of this?
I was told it would only fit the newer generation boats (2015 and newer)

It will fit in all of the older Mirage Drive Hobie's if you cut off the new drive's drive well guiding spines. This is a newer feature not found on older drives that does help to center the drive as you insert it into the drive well.

Since you already have a MD180 drive you have what was new for 2017. I would look for a used 2015 or 2016 kayak so you can get the new seat. The old fabric seat was very uncomfortable.

Also you should be able to get one of these years for not much more than a used 2012-2014 goes for. I wouldn't bother with 2009-2011 unless you can get one for $1000 or less that is in like new condition. These older model years have less features. 2008 and older I wouldn't buy at all as there are plenty of newer model years available if you can wait to buy.

Thanks for clarifying that.
I'm looking for a 15 or newer,
Probably an outback, but will consider a Revo. Obviously first color choice would be Blue, with White (Dune) a close second.
Would even consider red, but will not consider that horrible Orange.
Yah, I know, I'm being picky Lol!!!
If I can't find it, I'll probably have to save a few more pennies.

Dune is a great choice as it looks great for the life of the kayak. Blue and red not so much.

Blue fades, just like in baseball?  :smt003

Here's a pic of my (dune) 2016 Revo 13. with my Hobie Oasis Tandem. Two kayak back yard!!
Like the Revo because it is so light compared to da Tandem!!
