Just curious if anyone that owns one of these can provide some new feedback.  Am curious as to how well it handles in light surf (as compared to the Raptor as an example).  Thanks !!

One thought I had, if I get this kayak, is to order it without the rudder itself actually installed so I can use the foot pedals and the control wires to move a torqeedo 403 that I might want to install.  Sales at Eddyline were receptive to doing that.

Yester has one, maybe he can chime in. I have yet to take one out, but hopefully will get the chance soon.

I put a 403 on my EC14. These pedals mount on the existing rails, like them alot.

Let them know to prep it for a rudder when you order it. They have to do all the rudder mount work at the factory before they glue the two halves together.

I reached out to Eddyline and talked to a woman there about how well the C-135 would perform in light surf.  She told me that it was designed to go out for Ocean fishing.  I got an email response from a NJ Dealer who has been using the C-135 and says he has taken it out into surf and that it handles well.  Eddyline told me he has good experience mounting the Torqeedo 403 to Eddylines as well.  I am now playing phone tag with the dealer...

Anyone have any thoughts on this post?

Ok, finally got a chance to talk with the dealer.  He says he would not recommend it for surfing waves like we have seen videos that the Raptor can do. However, he really likes it for everything else.

Well, it came in last week, but they screwed up my order and forgot the rudder! Dan checked his e-mails, and they all say rudder, so the factory made a boo-boo. Oh well. They are rushing me a new one. Should be here by Friday. Too bad it's going to be raining and blustery this weekend.
Oh yah, if anyone wants a silver on white one with an anchor trolly, and a padded rear deck, give Dan a call at headwaters in lodi!  :smt001
The wait is KILLING ME!

Going on two months and couldn't be happier! Haven't taken it into the big blue yet, but it handles big Delta wind chop, and 2ft tall boat wakes like a champion. I've left my seat at home and fished all day standing. The scupper design plugs up with crap though, gotta poke your finger down there once in a while to clear them out if you are fishing weedy water.
