Anyone ever see this kayak?

Scroll down on this page to see details.  They say they still build them.

I agree. I am some what curious as to how well those "pontoons" hold up, but I would presume it might qualify as the most stable kayak ....

I am not with any company.  I am retired and in the market for a couple of kayaks to do different things.  Right now my top inflatable is a Fasttrack from Sea Eagle.  I want an inflatable that I can have in the back of my car for family outings (daughters live 5-7 hours away).  I am really interested in the upcoming G2 from Santa Cruz with my fallback being the Eddyline C-135. These two are my top two kayaks for fishing just for me. I just really like the unusual look of the kayak that I posted on this thread and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it.

It's a plastic pontoon boat looking to enter a larger market by calling it a kayak...

All that deck space wasted!
No rear storage or well.
No storage in the "Pontoons".
Either the dude in the pictures is HUGE or the cockpit is tiny!
What's it like to turn?
It looks like it'd be beast anywhere but a large lake. I know it'd suck in the small snaggy river I fish in...
And just thinking of loading it on a roof makes my back hurt.
Other than that... it looks neat! Like a picklefork and a canoe had a baby.

Exactly how I feel.  Now the pic following your post really speaks to my imagination.

Still waiting for real production pics and feedback from the early buyers of the G2.

As long as this post is drifting off for us to imagine new possibilities...how's this for a fishing platform and seeing where the fish really are:

Found this video link.   Seems this should raise the creativity bar for the owner of Santa Cruz Kayaks (Baitman) as I have read here that he never backs down from a challenge.
