this was posted in the nor cal section of fishingnetwork.  I'm wondering where this is.  Might be worth a try from the yaks, considering how it's stacked with linesides.

Anyone ever fished here?

I have not fished there but Rickey Mitchell fishes there a lot. Rickey has told me it is his home lake so I assume it is somewhere near Fresno.

Yep here is a link to the lake - http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=587

It says:

"The area is 20 miles northeast of Fresno via Highway 41 and Highway 145."

Yeah its about 30mins away.  The fishing is decent for bass and sometimes for stripers but it is not consistant for linesides.  there is somewhat of an erban legend/thery that thare are sturgeon in the lake.  But  if there are there arent enough to make them worth fishing for.  If you want to go fishing for stripers there now is about the best time of year.  I have fished it many times from a boat but never from my kayak I have mainly bass fished there.
