LMAO!!! Don, when that thresher was slappin you in the face I was havin flashbacks of my battle at Linda Mar... That was me laughin(in case you could hear me) I was a little jealous at how fast you landed that thresher, but, mine was bigger!!! Were goin out this weekend back to the same area or maybe a little more south of the san mateo bridge, if you have any waf(i'm sure you do) send me a pm or watch out for the hookups section.  My friends hooked up into some 6 and 7 foot soupfins this last sunday down there.  Were for sure gonna get back out there while it lasts... If you want bigger threshers you need to get out of the bay.  I suspect the bay is just a pupping ground.

They seem to be more common in SoCal, where people target them with live mackerel and giant trolled rapalas.
