That seat looks way too far from the water line. Why put a seat up that high? You lose a lot of stability and have to make up for it by making a wider slower boat.

The deal with seat is it goes high and low. The advantage of the high seat is the amount of visibility it gives you looking down into the water. It also makes it way easier to get up and down for standing. The stability it a non issue. The kayak is so stable both low and high, and most everyone can stand in it. I welcome anyone who is in doubt to come to Lodi and demo one. I think people will find the high low seat to be a huge advantage over traditional seating positions. (At least for inland fishing)
