Adjusting Turbo ST fins

What are you all adjusting them to?  tight or loose.

Check the hobie forums, there are a few threads on it.  The one with the most testing, suggests that a looser setting is better.

depends on what your needs are.mine are tight.the tighter they are the more forward thrust you get.but your pedals will feel stiffer.

If they are tight, you'll get more burst speed, but top speed will be the same whether they are tight or loose.  Loose will result in less fatigue though, so you can keep the higher speed longer. 

I too used to keep mine tight, then tried them loose, and after trying it, I'll keep them loose from here on out.

Thanks! That's the info I was looking for.

I have had mine slip out of the groove in the mirage drive twice, so now they are tight as can be.  No more problems!
